UBC is a publicly-funded university on Canada's West Coast, offering four-year undergraduate programs, as well as postgraduate and professional programs through 12 faculties and 10 schools. The language of instruction is English.
UBC admitted it's first students in 1915. Today UBC is Canada's third largest university, with a total enrolment of about 35,000 students. UBC attracts students from Canada, the US and around the world. The majority of students are from British Columbia and other Canadian provinces. More than 2,200 outstanding students from 120 countries study at UBC.
